Compact jr heater

Looking at my new-to-me '72 CJr ------
The heater is a "Comfy Model R8-5A. Anyone have helpful info (a manual would be nice, but doubtful) as to operating instructions? I haven't worked on it yet, so know nothing except what I will be able to figure out after I get propane connected.
BTW, the propane line going from trailer tongue to heater and 3-burner range-top is copper line. Is that legal/safe for propane?

Every RV has copper propane lines. You can have a propane dealer or a RV shop do a leak test on the propane system for a piece of mind. Just make sure the line from the propane tank to the regulator is in good condition. I don't think you will find a manual anywhere. These trailers I think were made 70-73 maybe.
