compact jr roof latches

Does anyone know what the spring latches are called that hold the roof of the Compact pop-ups down?
....and where can I get them?

Mine are rusty and ugly and we just can't have that goin' on in my little RV.

They are usually called "Tension Latches" or "Spring Tension Latches"

There are a number of them shown here after I googled "Jeep Hood Latches"

Hood latches

I knew I had seen these latches somewhere else in my life time and it was plaguing me where. When you mentioned Jeep it was like a relief because it was really bugging me that I couldn't remember where I had seen those latches before. Phewww, Thanks

Jeep Latches

I never knew they were hood latches. My brother had just told me they were "Jeep latches" or something like that.

You either have to be strong or heavy to get those things hooked on mine!

They are only called Hood Latches when used on hoods. On all other kinds of equipment they are usually just called "Latches".... lol

I have the hood latches in stock. They are used on older Bigfoot propane cover.
