Trailer: Boler

Thought I'd check in a see what other people are paying,in other jurisdictions.

Here in BC, my 1972 (or 3???) Boler, with 3rd party of 1,000,000,collision (300 ded) and comprehensive (300 ded) and what is referred to as basic coverage by area, cost us $114. This didn't include plate fees or license fees.

Anyone??

My 21 year old trailer is only covered when under tow. Licensing is expensive enough. I don't worry about theft, it's parked behind a solid 6' locked fence and I live in a cul-de-sac with "Neighbor Watch" signs that have meaning.

Zero $

Mine is also 0 USD. I'm covered for liability by my auto coverage. I haven't gotten a quote yet on damage or loss to the trailer.

We have our 1978 Trillium 1300 covered under our auto policy with The Hartford through AARP for $34/yr. For this we get "Damage to trailer other than collision, actual cash value not to exceed $4000 less $500 deductible" for $23/yr; standard collision, actual cash value not to exceed $4000 less $500 deductible for $11/yr. After I finish my next with our planned upgrades, I will need to have the cash value maximum raised to reflect new value, which will raise the premium.
