Condensation

I have a quesiton, i wonder if i should worry much about condensation under the foam mattress i have that is going to make up the pretty much permanent bed.. the origional foam cusions had a plastic backing and i wonder if that was to prevent the condensation to the underside... what suggestions would you offer me, something plastic, or has anyone had any trouble with just putting down foam and no condensation

That is a good question, we recovered our cushions with fabric all around so we would be able to flip them and rotate them for even wear.

We noticed on our last few nights that there was a fair amount of condensation under the bed cushions, what we don't know is if it is always like that or just because it was a wet day.

All we did was flip them up and they dry in a couple of hours, but if you have a permanent 1 piece matress, that might make it a little tougher.

Likely, the condensation is coming from the people sleeping, so it makes sense to have a vapor barrier of some sort between the people and the mattress...
