Connection to U Hauls heratige and renewed support

I was wondering. With the renewed interest at U Haul (corporate) in the CT 13, has anyone heard if they have been approached about additional support for CT 13 owners? A couple of things come to mind. A graphics set that would be similar to the originals but maybe without the “rental” aspect. Also they are in the perfect position to reproduce some long gone parts. Tail light lens and hubcaps would be a great start. Having all these attention getting little units running around with an identifiable connection to “U Haul” wouldn’t hurt them. Nothing beats almost free advertising. There are few things that scream nostalgia and family, with a warm fuzzy like these little campers. While some like to personalize their units, others appreciate originality and restoration. I would like to see some tasteful graphics available, and added replacement parts and information would be a God send.

Stickers are available from Goosler. As for the taillights, some progress was made this weekend for a solution. That will be addressed over on Facebook. It involves the lens cover that works for Jimmys, I think, as seen here: http://www.carparts.com/details/GMC/...eMIaAtHW8P8HAQ .

They tried them at the Algonac rally. Almost a perfect fit. Check Facebook.

One more thing - we stopped at the Kalamazoo Uhaul dealership that has the truck with one of our camper pictures on it on our way to Algonac. they pulled every worker in to see our camper. One of their workers indicated that he was willing and will be able to repair our surge brakes. While they don't have a solution to the lens covers or other problems you might be able to get some help in other areas. We might take ours back to have the surge brakes repaired; certainly they may help if you need new rims. Our local U-Haul dealership was able to help with that. And maybe will be as excited as the workers at Kalamazoo were to see a U-Haul camper. I posted on Facebook about it if you look at the posting.
