I have read in one of the posts about winterization that one person covers thier fridge and furnace vents,
Although I would think that the amount of water that will get in during the winter would be nothing compared to what gets in there going down the road I decided that I would cover mine.
Anybody else doing this???

I think people are less worried about water than they may be about pests. Everything from ants, wasps and rodents.

Hi Gerry!
I used to cover the trailer with those blue poly sheets from CTC but no matter how I tied it down the swirling wind would cause etching scratches on the top vent. Since replacing it several years ago I've not covered the trailer and experienced no problems and it gets it's PHD, doctorate, in the winter[Piled Higher and Deeper] This is just one guys view. You gotta do what you gotta do.
