Covers?

Does anyone use a winter cover, if so, what kind, and how well does it wear? Advantages, disadvantages?

We use the Cover Giant on our Casita. Not for sun protection since we are almost neighbors with you and as you know, sun is not the issue. We use it mostly to protect from needles & pitch.

Ours is 3 years old and has some small tears but will be Useable for a couple more years. Come look at it if you are still on the island.

I am, or I wouldn't worry about a cover. I have not figured out what to do for the winter but one option is park under Mom's pine tree so pitch would be a problem but the location is fairly protected otherwise. I might take you up on that but I will check on sizes and prices first.

As I recall ours was $180 including shipping. Casita is 17'.

I considered a tarp but was advised that the trailer needed to breath.

I haven't found anything for a 13foot trailer, and mine is shorter than normal. I wonder if I can find the fabric to make one?

I just ordered a cober on eBay for my 13' Trill. Do a search, there is a generic 13 cover for about 80 bucks. Should have mine soon, will report on the quality of it later
