Crank mechanism on roof vent.

I have a 2005 13ft Scamp and the roof vent will not open. It looks like the assembly is sitting on top of the screen and the pin on the handle is loose.
Does anyone have a picture or diagram showing how this looks put together?
Thanks in advance for any help offered.

This is a poor picture but it may help. You can see how the wheel fits into the track. They have a lifetime warranty...

I wasn't sure if the OP meant that kind of vent or the larger unpowered vent/escape hatch:

If the hatch has not been opened for a long time, it can stick.
Try to pry it open from above.

I do have the large un - powered vent and I can push the vent cover up after I unlatch the screen. The hardware has come undone and is laying on the screen.

Related to this, The crank mechanism for the escape vent on my scamp '13 failed. (Actually kind of fell apart.) Got a replacement from Hengs but cannot figure out how to install it. Any suggestions??? Thx. Dennis.

Help for roof vent that won't close

Hi
Apologies for interrupting but can't get new start on cellphone.
2017 Scamp 16. Stopped at rest area and the roof fan won't close. Manual or remote, it keeps reopening & makes a whining noise whether fan off or on. Shut off main breaker but no change. It was closed when we pulled out this morning. On way to New Mexico & of course Scamp is closed now. Any ideas?
Thanks

Will the handle not turn, or does it just spin on the shaft. If the second, you may just need to push it up and tighten the nut.
