I noticed that the boler has some dead space next to the galley. On the right between galley and bunk bed/couch. I decided i would /could at least utilize the space. Heres what i did. Folds away.

I agree. With the beautiful woodwork, it's worth showing.

Ok 3 things...

1. Still super impressed with that work.
2. Is your original Boler frame work underneath all that wood?
3. Your kitty is very cute....But I must say I am biast to mine!

Thanks. .Yup. All the fiberglass is under the wood. I should have the stove valance finished tomorrow . I can post a few pics of that. It hides the lights and what not over the stove. Gives it a clean appearance. The floor is light oak laminate with home style baseboards. Table is the same as kitchen counter with cherry trim. Once the upholstery is done it should start coming together.

Colin,

B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!!

One more question....when your add on table is folded down, does it get in the way of the cushion at all? When it is folded down, is it above the cushion? Love that mod....I want one. What is holding it up?

Thanks!
Sharon

Hi Sharon. The little extension counter top is above the bottom cushion so it can fold away or swing up easily. The bracket under the extension counter hinges so it swings away against the side of the galley. The extension swings down and covers the bracket. I can take a close up if ya like. Its easy to build and sure adds alot of counter space when you need it.

I love your remod. we are trying to work on our backsplash at the moment in our trailer. Can you tell me how did you adhere the backsplash onto the ensolite?

I hope you`ll have or do have something to hold the drop leaf down while travelling as you may get a lot of motion in it....Benny

Okay now that was too easy of a solution. Why didn't we think of that. Sometimes I think we over complicate instead of looking for the solution that's under our nose..

BTW. You can buy latex contact cement which is alot easier to work with. Cleans up with water, and no fumes unlike regular contact cement. Since you working in small space it might save a few brain cells.

What are you using for a furnace? It looks like you have a T-stat mounted next to the electrical outlet on the front of the cabinet, but I don't see a furnace anywhere in the cabinet

Good eye Bonnie. . That was from the previous owner who installed a baseboard heater at the base of the bunk. We boondock so that wont work. I have a black cat in the cupboard under the stove for when it gets frosty. I decided to leave the thermostat as the baseboard can be put back in . There is a plug it plugs into as well so reinstalling it will take literally minutes..
