Nice list Lyndon! I also like the way you include the daily details. We. too, keep a daily log.

We also walk each campground loop and write down the specific numbers of the other campsites in the campground that are nice, in case we pass that way again.

You could easily include those details on your "daily" sheet.

Check List

I have a small clip board (about 6 in x 8 in) with a grease pencil attached and a laminated check list (packing list on the other side). If I get distracted, I can pick up where I left off. The outside list is basically a clockwise trip around the trailer.

Inside:
Temp ga down, Furnace off
A/C off
Water pressure switch off
TV down
TV amp off
Windows closed & latched
Blinds up
Table shock corded down
Vents closed:
Cabin
Shower
Lock refrigerator
Lights off
Drawers closed & latched

Outside:
Outside carpets up & stowed
11 gal propane tank stowed
Stow Set Up box in trailer
Awning hooks out of awning
Close awning & stow crank
Stow outside thermometer
Refrigerator switched to 12v
Stove vent latched
Drain freshwater tank
Antenna down
Loosen stabilzers
Remove antenna (I carry a VHF antenna)
Power cord out & stored
Gas off at water heater
City water hose removed & stored
Shower drain closed
Gas off at 20# tanks. Secure cover
A/C cover on
Hitch trailer, sway bar & store hitch lock(s)
Hitch wheel off
Raise stabilizers
Check lights
Chocks out & stored in box
Pads stored
Secure freshwater tank cap

>>we seldom use the same camps

Lyndon, it's something we started doing, long ago ... and even though I realize campgrounds are sometimes renovated and renumbered, we've been pleasantly surprized by returning to campgrounds to which we never thought we'd return.

Besides, our ritual of walking the entire camping, writing down that campsites # 24, 45, 5 and 17 are nice is Pam's way of getting me off my campchair.

Steve>>if I get distracted

Wow! What organization! I'd probably lose the grease pencil in the process of getting everything ready to go. I know, I know, you said it was attached ... but where there's a distracted will, there's a way.
