A dedicated graywater tank generally has a large drain hole which uses a bayonet valve to drain it. If you are only draining a sink then you may not need one that large and could use something like a garden hose, then a freshwater tank could be used or even some other container made for fuel or to hand carry liquids.
Freshwater tanks are made from FDA approved polyetheylene approved for potable drinking water storage, graywater tanks are not, so you may not wish to use a graywater tank or other tank for fresh water.
