Do you do windows?

Okay, this may be a dumb question but i find it hard to properly clean the Casita windows because of the screens. In our camper i can pop the sliders out just like i do the ones in my house - clean both sides and then pop them back in place. If there is a better way to do this other than to wrap the cleaning rag around something to reach in as far as i can, still missing some spots, i would appreciate hearing about it. I don't plan on cleaning the windows on a weekly basis or anything but it would be nice to get the grunge off completely every once in a while.

Cleaning windows

:conf Just read this question/answer and I am reactivating the thread because I am also curious about the cleaning of the windows. There appears to be a 2-3 inch space on the Casita windows that can't be reached... A bit frustrating...any suggestions?

That dirty window.........

Lucie, I was about to post the same question as you have! Thank you!

Terry, our sliders (2002 17' SD) don't seem to pop out (a la residential sliding windows) like yours apparently do. Did Casita make a brand change later in 2002? Can't get that last 2-3 inches clean, as Lucie sez, and the screens seem to be ''built-in'' with no easy removal possible.

Maybe I've missed something. (That's often the case with old-timers.);)

screens...grrrr

Hi George,

The screens in the Casita do not come out and that is annoying when trying to clean the windows. What i was saying in the original post was that the sliding windows in our camper do pop out but i can't figure out how to get them or the screens out of the Casita. If someone knows the secret please tell us!

Terry & Roberta
