Dometic Parts?

Hi all,

It's been a long time since I posted but just this evening I went to check on the fridge in my Trillium and the plastic thermostat knob had basically disintegrated. Anybody know where I can get a new or used couple of knobs? I looked at rvpartsoutlet.com, campingworld.com, and put a couple of emails out as well (gammonsrv.com was mentioned here in the forum). If anybody knows of a good place to get a couple of replacement knobs, that'd be great!

You might try TJ at RVMobile (Everett WA) e-mail: rvmobile.com]TJ[at]rvmobile.com. You might have to wait for response. Barring that, I have , in my hand, a knob that is rust colored plastic, 1-3/8" long, 7/8"dia, with a 'D' recess, and a 5/8" high blade across the face (for turning). I suspect it may have been off the Instamatic fridge I replaced in my trailer. If you're interested, I'm going to be at 29 Pines campground, Teanaway River rd , Cle Elum. WA. Aug 22-26 '09. It'll be in the trailer anyway.

Sorry Daisy, I took the knob I have and went out to my other trailer, which has a Dometic RM46 (probably similar to yours). The rust colored one has too small a hole, so it won't fit. I would say your best bet is probably TJ. He's located at 11715 Hwy 99S Everett WA Phone # 425-355-1170

New page: click 'Electric Assy', click 'Show Diagram'. Is #21 what you're looking for? Yes? Click on '21' (on the number, not the pic). This may give you the access to order. If not TJ might be able to help, with this info. The prices are much better than what I was looking at ($32)

The knob for the refer in my Scamp merely has hash marks to show you're moving the cooling from less to more. Half the time, I adjust the cooling without even looking... just twist one way or the other depending on ambient temperature and what the refer thermostat says. As long as you can get a knob to fit, I think it would work just fine.

Maybe try RV Doctor George ??
