Dometic RM-1222
Hello friends! My new-to-me camper has a Dometic RM-1222 fridge and I am trying to find a manual. I didn't see one in the documents section, and I can't find one online. I'd love some guidance!
I am trying to figure out how to operate the fridge!

Double check that model number. Not listed as a product number on the Dometic factory support site. There is a Dometic RM122F, however. It's gas and 12V only and a PDF manual can be downloaded.
Could try their support site form to request the manual if the product number is valid:

It is either Dometic RM-1222 or VT23-1. I took photos of the labels.

If you would post a couple pics it can be identified.

Hi Elliejune,
Are the "labels" you photographed the numbers stamped in the exterior vents of your refrigerator? I have those numbers on my '73 Trillium but after looking at the manuals in the document center, my fridge closely resembles the RM24 . I'm not sure if the numbers on the vent plates are the part numbers for the vent plates.

Should be a label just inside the door on the left side when you open the door.

Inside your fridge, somewhere, you should see a label similar to this.

Post a picture of the fridge, inside and out, and I can probably tell you what it is.

Hello friends! Thanks for the guidance in figuring out which fridge I have. The labels I saw were on the vents. The fridge is a 3 way, and I've now successfully had it running in two ways! I don't think I'll bother on 12-volt... I'm sure it will eat up the battery pretty quickly.
I even made a little ice!

Yes, you're correct, it will eat up the battery quickly. I don't have 12 volt option on mine. If you decide you want the 12 volt option sometime later it is probably fixable. It's even possible the previous owner disconnected the 12 volt option to prevent the battery from going down accidentally.
