Dook Lock Scamp Stuck

I am trying to replace the door lock on my 13 foot Scamp. I remove the two screws on the outside first. Then I remove the 6 screws on the inside but it still would not come apart, It will spin around on both sides but would not come apart. I tried hitting the center square pin but that did not seem to help. Any idea's would be appreciated. Thanks

I used a 4" grinder with a cutoff wheel on one like you describe.

You could use a wheel puller or a slidehammer or soak it in a good penetrating oil then wiggle the inside mechanism with a channel locks.
if you look closely you will see that the inside part is sandwiched at the point where it meets the door... Drive a screwdriver in between the two layers and pry it apart.
Hacksaw the square shaft on the outside of the door.

I pounded on it for a while then when gap was big enough I use a reciprocating saw. So it is now done and works well. Thanks the help Floyd
