Door Lock part needed!

Hi

I have a Theodore Bargman door lock assembly on my Camper.

It appears to be missing a part.

I'll have to snap a pic or two but here is a drawing:

Patent US4116027 - Door lock - Google Patents

The part is a cam (# 74) connects b/w the key cylinder

and the latch.

Any ideas on sources would be much appreciated?

This looks like a Bargman L300. I am sorry to say that parts, and replacement units are hard to find, and very expensive. You may be better off having it fabed up, or making it yourself.

Where did you get the drawing? This would be helpful for anyone looking to make parts. Do you have one for the L400?

Ok

Sorry not a L300.

Sorry, can't find a diagram of the L400.

Trying to fight off the ADHD.

If I can find a Bone Yard, it will not be expensive.

"they don't make parts for that anymore" eh?

Anybody know of a JackPot RV wrecking field? Indiana?

Cheers

P.S. I know its against the grain of consumerism but I just love restoring things. Help save the earth..restore a piece of craftsmanship.

Reduce Reuse Recycle. Part of the charm of classic fibreglass trailers. When they last 35 years, they have a small foot print.

ADHD is no stranger to me. Two of my five kids are diagnosed. I should be as well.

Your a good Egg David

LOL

I would pay dollars to doughnuts to get tested for it.

I know its the reason I love all things shiny (and with wheels).

Speaking of wheels, my camper doesn't have any.

It does share some powerful traits and history from the Boler company.

You see my little "truck camper" was born across the street from Boler in

Earlton Ontario. That's right..the land of the hockey player.

I know other RV companies used the same door lock. So I may have to

pose the question on a few other RV boards. All the best and pictures to

follow.

Cheers

If this turns out to be an L-400, I have one I'm selling. It is missing the barrel lock.

Can you post a picture of the lock?

Incomplete Bargman l-400 (missing barrel lock)

This is way off topic, and possibly inappropriate. Since I don't want to offend, if the mods deem it necessary, please delete this post.

The test is quite simple. If speed helps, you have it. If you don't, then the stimulants will make it worse. The drugs that treat ADHD are mostly some form of amphetamine. This addresses the dopamine pathway. There is another set of drugs for the nor epinephrine path way. We have tried both.

Many un-diagnosed adults already self medicate. Lots of coffee, or other solutions.

They are somewhat reluctant to diagnose adults. I think that the concern is that the person being tested may be looking for cheep meth.

One of my children, on the last day of the school last year, asked if she could go to school un-medicated, since they were not doing anything anyway. I think it is ironic that my kid's way of getting high, is to not do drugs.

Freddo..my camera is AWOL and boy do I miss it. Can you please post a pic of your door lock (L-400)? David...you could teach me lots..I know nothing about pharmaceuticals. But i'm seriuos...I know i have it and a person could argue that we need folks like that. They have a different style of doing things. Totally out of the box.
