Door seal

I have searched all over this forum and had no luck finding what weather stripping to use on the door to keep water out. I can't be the only person who has water coming in the door. Any help is appreciated.

This is Scamp's new door seal. I don't know if it will work for you or not.

thanks, but that one is only 1/2" thick that is the exact size between the door and the frame opening. this wouldn't allow for compression.

You may want to contact "Outback Trillium". Trillium Trailers I have gotten parts from them. They should be able to get what you need.

Get a closed cell "D" moulding for the door seal. Scamp parts might have it

Floyd might have some ideas. I bought a Burro that he'd rebuilt. I know he added a channel overtop the door to keep water from dripping down. Can't recall exactly about the seal, but he knew that water intrusion around the Burro door was a (design) issue and he'd done some things to help it.

Burro is very similar to a Uhaul. Some Uhaul owners have found that the door seal from a dodge minivan works good. That would be the side sliding door seal

This weekend I added a sealed D rubber seal on the door and on the frame. This still did not work. So I decided to extend the stock overhang to 5" on an angle. I did this out of 1/2 azak material. Then I attached it to the shell. After that I used fiberglass to shape it to the contour of the body. I do hope this helps. I will post pictures after it is sanded and primed.
