Ebay Water Tanks-Any Opinions

Hello

I want to replace the water tank in my 13 Scamp, and the Scamp Prices are reasonable (until you add in shipping)

Therefore I am considering purchasing one on ebay, most have shipping included.

The drawback is that I do not know the thickness of the sides of the ones on ebay, nor the quality. I would hate to put one in my trailer and find out it distorts when full of water, or the threading in the connections leak etc.

Has anybody purchased one out there off ebay, or another inexpensive alternatives.

I believe mine is a 12 gallon.

You can always ask the seller a question and I would definitely check out all the feedback possible. Have you checked any local RV parts places?
