Bill, I don't have experience with two or three types. But the Prodigy was the one recommended to us. We have found it very easy to use. We bought it online.
I've had Tekonsha models as well as Draw-tites on various tow-vehicles.
I'm currently using a Draw-tite Activator on my Suburban ... fairly simple to install, use, adjust. No need to level or mess with any of that type stuff.
