Electric Teakettle

I vaguely remember someone mentioning how convenient an elective teapot is for camping. I looked on Amazon snd found about 30 types all with significant "cons". Any suggestions on brand snd type? Thanks!

Julie, since you have not received any replies or suggestions, I thought I'd tell you about the Cordless Electric Kettle we use in our home. (We use a LP stove heated kettle in our RV).

It is Kalorik 7-cup and can be purchased at Amazon.

Amazon.com: Kalorik Water Kettle, 1.75-Quart, White: Electric Kettles: Home & Kitchen

We have owned two in the past several years and have had very good service from them. They have a detachable heating base, so the hot water in the kettle can be carried anywhere. Our's is used several time a day, year around, and heats water fast

Good luck with your selection.

Bill

We have had several and really like using them. They come in a taller version and a short squatty version. We like the shorter versions with detachable base since they fit in the upper kitchen cabinets of our Scamp or latter Casita. We like to store it in our upper cabinet with our tea, coffee and mugs.

Thanks, Eddie. We also have a Scamp and just checked out space height, etc. so it's nice to know where it can fit.
I just checked it on Amazon and ordered it!
