Previously I identified my issue with a previous post" looking for
electrical help 1972 compact junior". A couple responses suggested that if I wanted to go to a power vent like a MaxxAir that I needed to get a power converter installed. When I talked to the local RV service centre they were talking power station as compared to just a converter. I gather this includes an AC distribution system as well as DC distribution. Then it sounds like they need to cut into my trailer to install a hatch for the shore power cord. This seems a lot more complicated and I am wonder if it will be beneficial to do all this. At the moment I have a separate DC circuit off of the
battery comprising of two old
lights that should be replaced and the water pump, which I have never used. 110 is a simple extension cord that has two male ends, one for the hook up, one to the plug on the side of the trailer. One 15 amp breaker box, two incadescent
lights and two power plugs. Progressive dynamics is a brand that has been recommended on the forum but the local dealer is talking Chinese knock off- help! Looking for more comments and recommendations.
