Fantastic Fan?

I am a recent owner of a 1984 CT13 U-Haul. I would like to install a fan in the overhead vent. Is a Fantstic Fan the best option? If so, what would be the best model? Thanks for your advice and help.

I like the model with the remote and it closes when it detects rain. Even though it closes auto when it detects rain, I installed a max vent over it so we can still run it in the rain.

MaxxFann is another option, has built in vent for operation in the rain.

I have the Fantastic Fan and it works great but if I was to get another I would get the one that has more than 3 speeds as the slowest speed can be a little to high at times and the one that has the automatic rain closing sensor! Or if you dont have a problem adding more height to your trailer then get the Vent cover they sell that is designed to allow you to leave the FF vent open in the rain or snow.

If I had to do it again, (and I do) I would go with the MaxxFan. No need for a rain sensor, and many more speeds. Get the one with a remote.

we have the 5000RBT Fantastic Fan on our Uhaul. It has 3 speeds, is reversible, and has a thermostat. About $144 plus shipping on ebay. Most of the time we just use it as a vent without running the fan.
