Ruth,
For some reason, that has only happened once to us. It kept spitting every time we turned on the kitchen faucet for nearly an entire day. The supply hose bibb was so far away that we had to use 2 hoses. Lots of air to make the faucet burp!
This is a good opportunity to remind folks that exactly the same thing happens with your
propane line, when it's been disconnected. The big difference is the
tiny orifice through which the air must be bled. No burner function until the air has been purged.
Thanks for the heads-up so we can avoid the rude awakening of a face full of water
Have a wonderful
NEW YEAR and we hope you will get to spend lots of time camping
