faucets for kitchen and bath

Has anyone used regular household faucets in their trailer, either for kitchen or bath? Anything I should consider if I go this route? I'm thinking that possibly the spacing of the water intakes may be different so a household faucet may require a compatible sink. Any feedback is appreciated as I am not a plumber.(yet)

Lowes Kitchen Faucet

We replaced our Kitchen Faucet with one from Lowes (about $30). We wanted a faucet that was taller and provided more space under the faucet.

It was easy to replace. You simply unscrew the water pipes from the old faucet and screw them on to the new faucet. In our case it was easier to first remove the sink, typically held on with four wing nuts to access the faucet's pipes. Be sure to keep track of which pipe is hot/cold water.

I replaced my kitchen faucet (a wet bar type faucet) with a laundry room faucet that had more reach. In my case, any faucet with 4 inch center to center holes would have worked.

+1 on high spout bar faucet from Lowes. Mine was American Standard "Cadet". 44$ which is about as cheap as it gets all-metal. 4" on centers for the supplies is pretty common.

I went high-brow (it was a Christmas present) and bought an all stainless highrise Danza. It's four-inch centers which is typical for bar sinks or bathrooms.

Thanks all. I wasn't sure if the household stuff operated at a higher pressure or, something like that. I will keep my eyes on the sales.
