Fiberglass Cleaner

I brought my "new" 84 Scamp 5'er home a couple weeks ago. When home I noticed there were several "rust" discolorations in places where the hardware had corroded. After trying several products unsuccessfully I found a great marine product that cleaned it right off with some rubbing. Unfortunately, now I have very clean spots where I removed the rust discoloration. Is there a simple rub on wipe off product out there that will remove all the old yellowing/oxidation? The "marine" product worked fine but the thought of using it to rub out the entire 5th wheel is not appealing to me if there are better faster products.
Thanks for your replies
Steve

Think you will find that one bottle of 3M restore & wax will do the whole trailer... not a big expense and suspect you will be happy with the over all result.

I have had good luck with Bar Keepers Friend on a rag and bucket of water, others have reported good results with TSP, water and a little soap in a bucket. I have used TSP in a bucket of water on my Scamp with good results as a final wash before waxing.

Big soft scrub brush on a short handle proved very handy too.

I found the washing with rags and a brush, followed by a power wash rinse to be less work than StarBrite fiberglass clean/restore and wax product that I had to rub on and rub off. But I was just clean at the end of my process, not waxed. I used Red Maxx Pro #3 liquid for my wax job as a follow on process.
