Fiberstream Windows

Getting ready to put windows back in our Fiberstream, any suggestion of what type of chauking to use? They were in with a Dap type material when we took them out except for the bathroom and it was in with silicone. Have cleaned up all the old chauking and will be ready to install soon. Thanks

Butyl Tape For All Applications-Find What You Need Fast!
This is the recommended product. No additional "Squeeze-out-of-a-tube" caulk is required.

Thanks, that's what we were planning but the window people said we should use silicone so we thought we would go directly to the experts..Would you put it on the trailer and then apply the frame or on the frame and screw it in place?... We appreciate the help of other Fiberstream People.

When I did mine, I applied the tape to the window frame, then carefully pressed the window into it's hole in the fiberglass wall. It stuck in place while I went inside and screwed the clamp ring to the interior of the window frame. Then I methodically tightened the clamp ring, going from one screw to the one on the direct opposite side of the frame to equalize the pressure on the ring as I tightened all of the screws a little at a time until the Butyl Tape would squeeze out of the edge. This expansion of the butyl tape under pressure will keep happening for days. I'd trim the excess after a couple of days and check to see if I could tighten the clamp ring screws more...
