Finally got a Scamp...Now the fun begins, with questions

After looking and looking and waiting, I finally picked up a 1982 Scamp 13. Overall not in bad shape, but it does need some TLC and the perfectionist in me sees alot of work needing done. I did find a small piece of soft floor at the entry. I was in the middle of pulling the carpet to put in either vinyl tile or wood floor and I noticed it. I pulled it out and replaced it with a piece of PT ply and resin coated it. I think it may have happened because the door does not seal at the bottom eight inches or so. I guess the door is relaxing a bit. I did see the posts of the doors being rehabbed by cutting the inner skin. I don't think I need that, my door sits about a 1/2" or so out from the bottom. I have some parts on order from Scamp now including new hinges. I guess I need to see if what they do and the door sits then when installed. Question is, when the hinges are here and if the door still sits away from the body is there an easy way to pull it in? I was thinking if cutting a couple of Oak bows to match the contour with the corrected amount and screw them to the inside of the door. I figured that would pull it up in place. I could then maybe disguise the bows as something useful like a magazine rack or something, haven't decided yet. Could the door issue be causing the gap in my bench at the door? It appears the wood on the inside of the bench is at the shell, so I don't think it has sagged (hopefully) I have a 3/4" gap and am wondering if the bench was removed at an earlier time and slide to far over? The contour looks even. Sorry for the long winded first post, here are two pictures showing what I have.

Welcome Tim, there have been posts from members that did take the door apart and reinforced the original contour to the body with wood and/or fiberglass. If I remember right, one person made a magazine rack out of wood and bolted it through the door to bring it back to shape. I don't know how to add those posts but I'm sure someone else will or have some other answers for you. Good luck to you.

Tim I just looked back at your post. Not sure if this would be part or your issue but I have read posts of the wood in the door framing being rotted out and causing door problems. Experts...????

I have read the posts where the door has been full of water and the extra weight pulls it down. I do not think that is my issue, although I fully could be wrong. My door is not that heavy, but I do not know what the original weight is. I thought of drilling a couple of small weep holes to see if water leaks out. That would tell me for sure. The more I look at it, It seems maybe that the body is sagging. The door on the hinge side is closer than the farther side. If the body was sagging, it would pull it away from the bench inside right? And the sag would show more in the door the farther away from the sag making my gap bigger away from the hinge. Please correct me if I have this backwards. I got to poking around today and it looks as if the FG tape holding the body had started to delaminate on the inside of the bench. The PO had tried to "patch" it by covering it with polyester putty which did not hold well. I also noticed that the body is sitting a little heavy on the frame in the front. I woke up in the middle of the night last night out of deep sleep realizing the support between the galley and cabinets is gone. So what I have is:

1. body sitting on frame at tongue.
2. no support (on order) between galley and upper cabinet.
3. 3/4" gap between bench and body on inside.
4. door gap that is a little larger opposite of the hinge side.

Would this equal body sag?
