I have a 1999 17 foot widebody Burro
with indoor/outdoor carpeting that I would like to remove. I wanted to replace it with Allure. I was told at Home Depot that since I stored it here in Phoenix, AZ, the trailer would be too hot ( easily over 100 degrees inside), and the glue wouldn't hold up. I have installed vinyl planks in two boats and loved it, but that was in San Diego. Have any of you had experience with vinyl flooring at these temperatures? My second option is laminate. The carpet is glued to the fiberglass floor, and there are screws sticking up along the floor which attach the bathroom and counter to the floor-making it very uneven. i have heard good and bad about installing laminate over carpet. Any ideas?
