Hello,

I am in the last step of my uhaul makeover and I am trying to fing the best way to give a fresh look to my windows frames.

Anyone have a paint suggestion. The paint guy in my local store said to use regular black mat outside paint? Any one as tried it?

Thanks

Fred

You said frame so I assumed trailer frame, most of which are satin black. A window frame is a horse of a different color. The frames are most likely aluminum, you might want to research primers for aluminum. From there pick a color. I guess it depends on how distinctive you want to be. What would go well with Uhaul orange? Maybe a nice blue. What ever you do, we expect to see pictures! Raz

Thanks Raz, I simply want to bring the frame back to its original black mat color. With time it look like the sun as done some little decoloration on some spot.

I will look around for aluminium primer.

Will post pica before and after for sure.

Kevinhenry61 posted great videos on youtube. I wonder where he has gone? His vids encouraged me to go forth and renovate!

Try this site.

Sorry don't know how to link otherwise. Teach me??

Btw I just polished my window frames and they look great. Very shiny!
