I'm looking for how to have a table that can stand between the benches but not be attached at the front wall of the trailer. (I'm now thinking of leaving the current table in the bed-position, but not putting in the last two boards, that leaves just enough room for a small dinette at the end of the bed. But the table would be smaller and not have a wall to attach to. Any good ideas?

How about a scissor stand like on an ironing board?
or the metal Folding Table Legs like on a banquet table?

Here is the table we use .. when not in use, most of the time, it is held up next to the refrigerator with a bungee cord. There when we need it.

Here are two photos. The inside photo was taken before we did our twin bed mod but it will give you an idea of size.

My table is not attached, and is not needed to construct the bed platform.

It uses Porta-Leggs, 2 are shown below one set open, and one set folded for storage..

This allows me to use it outside as well, between our Car-seat chairs.
