fridge fix?

I'm sure I saw something on this site about a fix for fridges that aren't very cold. Mine works but not really well. the freezer is perfect but the main area is cool but not cool enough to safely store food. Are there places that re-charge them with ammonia? or is that even the problem.

please IM me if you can hook me up with the info.
thanks,
Scott

Take a look here, on Google. Lots of information on improving RV refrigerator performance. If your freezer works, but fridge is warm in spots, I'd recommend an internal fan.

Yes, I agree, if the freezer freezes, then it is just a matter of getting that cold air circulated to cool, these work real well.

If your refrigerator doesn't get cold, you might build a baffle to direct all the air over the cooling fins.

My refrigerator went from 30 below ambient to 55 below ambient when I did that.

If you search online you can find a Dometic installation manual. It clearly show how to place the baffle.

I simply made mine of reflectix and it has held up beautifully.
