fridge stinks

Hi I have a 74 17" Boler with a Domestic 360 fridge it works fine except it stinks when closed. Wether running or not very cold, kinda cold it smells like rotten feet. I have checked for dead wildlife etc it was all fine. Any ideas on what ti might be and or how to get rid of it would be greatly appreciated.

I used a deodorizer cartridge I got at an RV dealer AND
Once it's clean, it has to stay OPEN when not in use.

Bob's right. When not in use, prop the door open. You want the inside to thoroughly dry out, including the seals.

Have you tried vinegar? Or 409? Or diluted bleach? WHAT have you used?

OdoBan Disinfectant will kill off almost any odor. It's available at most WalMarts. It's not well known, but among health care cleaners it will clear the worst room odors when used as a cleaner.

You said it's not very cold....does it get cold or could it be you're smelling ammonia?

Our fridge at home always has an open box of baking soda in it. The Scamp fridge always starts smelling if left closed unused. Cleaning after every trip is essential, but keeping it open is still necessary.
