Generator and Mini-Fridge Question

I wanted to know what size of generator to run a mini-fridge? I have a boler that has one, but I don't always camp where there is electricity, I don't care about lights just cold food! Don't really understand how to figure it out. Thanks!

Find the data tag on the fridge which lists amps and or watts. Then double that figure as upon start-up it will draw double.

There must be a mistake - a full size residential fridge is like 450 watts (115v - 4A).

Maybe it says 1.5 amps?

I suggest you get a 2000 gen of the Honda type, Constant voltage and good wave. Most of the electronics have computers and need constant voltage and good wave form or else they will break. The 2000W will power almost all of your needs from a hair dryer to electric chain saw. The 1000w will not handle most of these things and the cost is not that much more.

Please note that most people do not run them enough. The gas gets bad and gets water and gnuk in it. When in storage please drain the gas and if you can find it, Go to a marine gas station and get gas that has no boze in it. This is the main problem. If stored more than 6 months, No gas. Make sure you dump the tank before new use and get out any water.
