You will have to get it from a RV parts store. It is more than likely found in a kit form. Just pull of the hose and use what you need.

RV Sink Water Drain System 37420

Some of the older traps have removable bowls. If you get lucky you may have and find a trap with a removable bowl. Then you can just replace the bowl. The newer ones are one piece.

The P trap (the bowl you guys are talking about) broke under my sink. I unscrewed it and took it to Camping World (3 miles from my house). The parts guy looked at me like I had two heads. I finally told him, it's used alot in tent trailers. Guess what Camping World doesn't (didn't carry). I was fortunate and had all the parts. JB Weld and it hasn't failed yet.

I'm only mentioning this because not all RV places will have everything you need... unless you nudge them with info. IF/when the one in my Scamp breaks, I'll buy from Chuck, at least he knows what it's for and has it!

Now with the new pictures it look like you are missing your shower pump strainer not the drain trap.

Thanks Eddie
Any thought on the other problems. When I hooked up the city water and filled the hot water heater tank and turned on the hot water, it smelled really bad. I am going to call our rv repair shop and let them check it out.

You just need to flush out the hot water heater. Take the trailer outside and tilt the trailer toward the water heater (With a jack or put one wheel on a ramp). Then make sure there is no pressure on the water system. Open the water heater access door and you will see a plastic drain plug. It takes a 15/16 socket to remove it. Drain water heater then start flushing out the crud. Re install the plug when no more crud comes out.

Be sure to use Teflon tape on the plug threads when you re-install the plug or you may never, ever, get it out again.

Susan with the exception of your floor issue pretty well every thing else is pretty easy to fix and pretty standard maintenance issues.

The floor is going to be your biggest problem depend a lot of how rotten it is. If you pock it with a screw driver is it really spongy or is it just the top layer of chip board that is peeling up?

You can get the new curtain holder at pretty well any drape shop or hardware store or perhaps even Walmart. Just drill out the old rivets and replace.

You can buy replacement parts for the door at the Scamp online parts store for $5.

You can purchase rivets and a gun at most hardware stores. But Scamp does sell packages of all the sizes of rivets they use on the trailer along with all the different sized cap holders and caps you will ever need. Otherwise you can also buy the caps and cap holders from most major hardware stores. As far as what size rivets you will need do a google on this forum and you will find a thread that I seem to think is called Scamp Rivet Sizes or something like that.

What do you think you are missing on your jack to keep it in place? From the photo it looks to pretty standard. There is a round bar that can be used by putting it in the holes to jack it up a little more but you dont need that to keep them in place. Scamp also sells the bar online.

Eddie is right again about the hot water tank. It may be that some not so great water was left in it. Simple needs to be cleaned out. Sometimes sludge will build up in the bottom of the tank as well. You can purchase a water heater rinsing wand from Camping world that helps with that in the future. If giving all your tanks a good cleaning out with a little bit of bleach (google the forum for how to do that correctly) doesnt clear the problem up it may be that the you need to replace the anode rod in the hot water tank but more often than not the tank just needs a good cleaning.

Just a quick update. Ordered parts from Scamp and Dometic. Smell is gone after cleaning tank. Thanks again, Eddie. Taking camper to rv repair shop tomorrow to get air conditioner and hot water heater serviced, convert 4-wire hock up back to 7-wire and get new tires.
I will work on new cabinet doors, window treatments and cushions while she is gone.

Will post more pictures as I go.
Thanks again for all of your advice,
Susan H.

The RV repair shop says they would have to pull all the cabinets on that side to repair the bottom of the sink cabinet. He says that piece of wood run the full length of all the cabinets. He is quoting $2400 for this job. Would it be possible just to cut it and add a support to attach the new cabinet bottom to? Any ideas welcome

Way too much for the floor repair. From the pictures it hard to tell but you may be able to fix it with Git-Rot if its not too big an area. Do you have pictures of the bottom of the area. Is it rotted under both cabinets? You don't always have to replace the whole board you can cut out bad areas and put in good wood. Just depends on the extent of the rot.
