If you own a 2004-2005 GM Truck or SUV you should read:

It made a world of difference in the shifting of my 2004 Escalade. Also increased in town gas milage from 14.4. to 15.9 MPG. I haven't had a chance to see what happens towing down the road.

A couple of years ago the 700R-4 in my 83 GMC Diesel Jimmy began starting off in a gear other than first. It also didn't want to shift into 4th on a regular basis. Then more problems began to show up. Before we got home from a trip to California practically every hard part in the case had to be resplaced.

Actually it was the easiest transmission job I have ever done. All I had to do was write a large check.
