Hello gang! Is there anyone out there with knowledge of, or owns an operators manual, for an Eagle Explorer handheld GPS?

My generous son sent one along for dear old Dad sans instructions. Now I had a similar gadget on my boat some years back and I remember there was a fair bit to using one of these. It is hopeless to attempt to use this device without instructions. HELP!

Ken,

Don't know which model you have but you can go here to the company and download whichever one it is

Thank you so much Gene. I think I've found the right model. Once again the power of this simple forum comes into play. Another problem solved! I printed out the whole 50-page manual. Now to learn how to use a GPS.

Thanks again.

For anybody that wants to learn how to use a hand held GPS receiver I stongly suggest going to geocaching.com and reading a bit. Then try your hand at finding a few geocaches.

And thanks to you too Byron. I see geocaching in our future. I read over the site you posted and it sounds like something we can get into. Thanks for opening our eyes.
