hand vacume?

ok,,,i sort of want to keep my new baby ,,,well,,, if not clean,,,,not disgusting.
so what to use while camping,,,for sand and such, a small hand held vacume? or a sweeper? or a small vacume broom?
or wait till i get home.... or maybe hire a valet service?

hey wait a minute,,, i just invented a retirement business..... go to camp grounds and provide a camper maid service.....now how to convince my wife this is a great oppertunity for her....

an old fashioned push carpet sweeper worked well for me when I had carpet. They still make them and they are reasonably inexpensive.

No Current Bush required.

I am a Ryobi convert. They make a wet/dry canister vacuum. This is not the Dirt Devil clone that they call the Tuff Sucker, that thing sucks. I call the one I use an electric bucket. I use it to clean out the pool, clean up messes... I also carry a 12V in car charger. It is a bit bulky though.

I mostly use the stick thing with bristles - the stick part folds down to make it very short for storage. I also have a small 12v hand vacuum that I will pull out if on the road for more than a week or to clean up big messes. Using throw rugs in the entrance of the trailer and down the middle of the kitchen area helps a lot - just take them outside and shake them as needed.

im thinking a dirt devil type thing.
it took me years to convince my wife that my hand was the wrong shape to hold those stick things with bristles.

We use a Shark hand-held. It works fine except on goat head burrs. It is electric though. I am not sure if it can be charged or not. We always camp with electric.

I have a Dirt Devil ultra-hand-vac. I bought this thinking it would be a great addition to my existing cordless bristle stick. I haven't used it much though... I keep a clear plastic runner over the indoor-outdoor carpet in the Fiber Stream so the floor is more like vinyl than carpet.

I am woman... hear me roar... Vacuum cleaners and camping sound like an oxymoron! If a broom doesn't work good enough... always wear shoes. Guys don't take lawnmowers to clean up the campsite, I'm not about to spend time vacuuming. Gad

Donna, let them men have it. Vacuuming and camping definetly do not go together.
We have tile floor and a broom, dust pan and then Wet Jet does the trick.
