Unhappy Have to start over again (sick)

Hi all,

I don't know if you remember me, Lonely Road, aka Margaret.

I got really sick, and now I have to start the whole danged process over again.

I had car and Scamp all lined up. I got the deposit back from the Scamp, and I'm still going to buy the car.

I think I'm going to go for a 16 footer this time. So, back to looking for a Scamp or Casita . . . or maybe one of those new baby Airstreams.

Any help or assistance appreciated.

Thanks!! Margaret

Those baby Airstreams are the former Nest Caravan, and will be quite pricey. I would not doubt they will be close to $50k USD .

Hi Mike,

That's nice. I think it's still going to take awhile--maybe up to ten weeks. Sometimes it's hard to accept what fate throws at you, but you can't undo it .. . .

I am truly sorry to hear that, Margaret. I wondered why you hadn't posted for a while.

Personally, I think a 16'er will be a lot more comfortable for the kind of travel you plan, and the Hyundai will make a good combination. Concentrate on getting well, and of this I am sure: there will be another trailer.

Best wishes in your recovery!

Good to hear from you and I'm wishing increasing strength every day. Good luck in finding a "just right for you" trailer!

Thanks so much Jon!

I guess it's going to be a 16 fter after all. So at least one cloud has a silver lining, LOL.

Yep, working on the Hyundai.

We sure understand illness. So many things can happen to us, and you're right about, "Sometimes it's hard to accept what fate throws at you, but you can't undo it .. . . "

We feel for you and hope your recovery continues well and quickly, and that at the end you find just the set-up you want!
