I 'm pulling apart my Hehr jalousie windows for rebuild. The rubber seals and plastic trim is mostly hardened or deteriorated and I am having trouble finding a source. The cranks are still functioning fairly well and I saw replacements for these in the links section but not rubber and plastic parts. Any ideas?

Not available from Replacement Hardware Manufacturing Inc. which is one of the links in the Windows and Window Parts page??? Their website says they have over 30,000 parts in stock including glass bead, tilt and vinyl...whatever that means? They have an 800 number, might be worth a call.....

David

I found the 2 rubber/moulding items at Interstate Metal Fabricators (503) 786-8860. (got their info from Hehr windows)

The backframe gasket originally used was their item # 009-101.

They have replaced it with a peal and stick gasket that sticks to the back side of the window frame New # 109-613. It worked perfectly for me.

They also have the small gasket that goes around between the glass and aluminum

I am sorry I don't have final photos right now things worked great. I loaned my boler to a good friend while remodeling his home. Will update my blog when I get it back.
