This looks great, Yvon! Did you replace/paint the bellyband? My 86' has a brown band but the white/cream looks much nicer.

No i don"t replace molding of aluminum it's original but i replace the vynil trim because it was old

the vinyl trim is not selling expensive at the RV supply and is easy to change

Do you have photos with the new decals?

I do This is a photo of the original decals. They were faded and chipping and flaking around the edges.

This is a photo of the Scamp after the old decal removal but before I buffed and polished and waxed it. You can really see the ghosting left behind.

We ordered the new decals from Scamp. They were time consuming to put on, but pretty easy. I used a bucket of soapy water and a squeegee to make sure they were positioned properly. You dunk the decal in soapy water, then place on the surface and squeegee it down. When it dries, it's stuck for life, so don't let it dry out until you have it properly positioned. Here are a couple with the new decals:

I hope Scamp Enterprises sends you a nice, big check for your advertisement.

Judging by the number of people who pay good money for a variety of merchandise with prominent commercial logos and branding, I'd say some people are proud to associate themselves with particular companies they like and support. Of course, it may be more about status than substance…

…but I don't think that applies to Scamp, and personally, I don't mind pointing folks to Scamp as I go down the road. The one they purchase may be my next used Scamp!

Ha ha! You can't imagine how many times we've heard early morning walkers go by and stop to talk in whispers about our Scamp, wondering where a person could get one. We're just helping them out with our tire cover!
