Does anyone have a high resolution Trillium logo file?

Hi Arthur,

We have discussed this a few times on the board. There are several talented members who have created highquality vector images of various logos, however there are some concerns about reproducing the Trillium logo because of copyright concerns. One of our members recently did a check on the Trillium name itself and apparently the trademark ended when the company when bankrupt in the early 80's. Donna D. (Moderator) may have more to say on this.

Last I heard, Tom Young of TrilliumRV owns the copyright to the logo. But with the announcement from Reace and Tammy of Escape Trailers: Escape Trailer Ind & Trillium RV, I don't really know what's going on with TrilliumRV or if Tom is still in business (I hope so!)

A member sent me a PM with this information:

I checked the Canadian Trade-marks Database from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office of Industry Canada, and found only these entries relating to trailers or RVs:

* Trillium Industries
o registered in 1971
o expunged in 1986 due to failure to renew
o I assume that this was the original Trillium company
* Trillium
o applied a decade ago, but never registered
o application inactivated in 2001
o my guess is that this was for the Calgary people now known as Team Trillium

So based on that information the FGRV member said it doesn't look like anyone 'owns' the trademark at that point.

"New Trillium Company: Formed by myself to produce the trailer under the TM Brand name "Trillium"."

Where I would imagine TM Brand name stands for Trademark Brand Name.

I think I've said this before, but I would be comfortable making a decal or sign for MYSELF, but I certainly wouldn't do it and sell the product. That would be hard to defend in court.

I'm fairly handy with Adobe and Inkscape. I know how to make vector files as well.

I just need a fairly decent high resolution file to work of off to make it easy. I could recreate but I thought I try here first.

I was only thinking of making one or two for my trailer, not for resale. My wife owns a Cricut that can cut vinyl.
