Do not confuse the needs of a
Trillium or Scamp or some other brand for bunk supports. There's a reason each use some thing different. For instance, as Dave mentioned

the Scamp bunk is screwed to the bottom of the piece that is fiberglassed to the front wall of the trailer, NOT the window frame. So, the type of hinge is different based on how it works when it's NOT in bunk bed mode, but gaucho mode.
Hence, the hinge is NOT a piano hinge for a Scamp, but a chest hinge like the image I posted and the picture Roy posted.
