Hole in roof where solar wire enters body

I bought a 2014 Trillium from Great West Vans (dealer in Bay Area of Ca). Moved cross country to NY - first rain flooded inside of trailer. No help from dealer. Discovered hole the size of my pinky finger in roof where solar wire feeds in. Wire has flimsy plastic sheath around it - hole is a bare hole that just looks drilled into the fiberglass. (In a water run-off trough no less)! Obviously they forgot to add something and overall seems like poor planning. I am wondering how to fix this. Can I seal with Dicor around the wire?

Cap it with a thru hull boat fitting. I'll post what I used. We have used this for 3 years without issue, I painted the cap white before installing to protect it from UV.

The Lexan makes a great seal.

I would at least use a rubber grommet with some type of sealer, I like the Proflex. Our Uhaul had a grommet where the solar wire came through and never leaked. I have a coffee can full of grommets, although try and find the right size!!

While this may not be the same manufacturer, this is what Escape uses for their solar feed throughs as well as for the wire from my outside cell antenna. They use Dicor between the fitting & the trailer as well as a filler around the wire.

Kara, this is what I used while installing the wires through my roof for my solar panel http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...lar-64512.html I got it from a local boating store. I'm pretty confident it wont leak for a long time since its designed for marine installations.
