Horizon Awning not retracting properly

Hey all!

We just got ourselves a Casita, and it came with a Horizon awning.

For some reason, it doesn't want to retract back into it's hard case the way it should.
The back corner seems to hang up and remains sticking out (but not by much), and in fact, there also seems to be an obstruction with the way the middle tab is not going into it's holder properly either. It's like it's binding in there or something. Hmmmmmm

Now, I'm a pretty mechanical guy, and I know better than to start trying to pound this thing back into it's stowage case...but this is bugging the heck outta me!!! I just can't get it back in.

Any advise out there?? Anybody else encounter such an uncooperativerascal??

With my awning, I found that I had to be very picky how the support struts were positioned inside the shell. They don't just fall in place, you need to fiddle with them, flip them around, and generally get the whole process down. That fixed a similar issue with my awning. It's not the best design.

Thanx Tom

Yeah, I kinda messed with those a bit, but I'll go try 'em again.

if it turns out that this is the issue, (and it continues to be an issue), then I'll probably just pull them off there and make it so I can reattach them whenever I actually use my awning. Easy enough for me.

Heck, the one that came on our old 1976 motorhome was a trojan!! You could practically drive around with that thing open, and not hurt it! It was full adjustable too!
