Hot Tub

If we install a hot tub in a Scamp 5r, do you think we should upgrade the Torsion axles?

A new reinforced floor would also probable be a good plan as well.

If you go ahead with this please be sure to let us know where/when you will be holding the first party and invite us!

Didn't think so Bob, but just thought it might be fun to let it run in case someone else was

Note the pop up ad

Its like they read the thread.

So I clicked on the ad. For $6000, this hot tub is made for camping:
This wood burning hot tub doesn't need to be plugged in or connected to any drain
Fill the tub with cold water from your garden hose and light a fire in the pit. The fire hot tub holds 200 gallons of water
The water is pushed through the metal coils which surround a wire basket where the firewood is housed
A stainless steel windscreen panel attaches to the chrome pipes to keep you safe from the fires flames while soaking in the tub
Includes a clear top cover with two chrome handles. Please do not leave tub unattended while fire is lit. Extremely hot surface

Click on the tub for a link, and go to the home page for a few other of their products.

Looks pretty light. No axle upgrade required. Not sure how to get it in the door though.

Go to Bennett's post and click on the tub. It's towable. Would solve the previous where do you get water and will cause a plethora of how to solar power the thing.

I know someone that has a portable hot tub( kind made of like an above ground pool) it is only big enough for 2 people( what more do you need) when they go to their hunting lease for a month in the fall, they take it with them. They have a water truck haul in water then just plug it up and they are set to go. They say it is great after a day in the woods to be able to relax in the hot tub where they can see the campfire.

Made one of these a few years ago.
Design by butlerprojects.com
Stove by snorkel stove.

Wood fired and lots of fun.

Have seriously considered putting it on a utility trailer and having some fun.
