Hunter Compact Parts

I have a 1975 Hunter Compact II and would like to know where one gets parts for these things. To start with, among other things, I am looking for a stone cover for the front window and awning brackets for the side windows. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Deb

Compact II and Jr. have not been made for years. The parts you are looking for are not available. You will have to make a stone guard. I can help you with cord hatch and water fillers, LED tail lights and marker lights.

I'm rebuilding a Compact as well and am collecting materials. I think that building a rock guard out of angle aluminum and either sheet metal or fiberglass wall board is going to be our best option. The roof is my biggest issue hardware wise. Im really considering lifting it and glassing it as a hard shell, much like the Havasu camper was made. The lift hardware and surround material seem tricky, for lack of a better word.

Frankie I would love some more info from you. I've seen your pics on here but can't wrap my head around what is keeping them locked out when they are in the up direction. Would you be willing to help me out a little more?

There are 4 small holes in the edge of upright lip of the lower roof. When the upper roof is raised, the moving metal supports are vertical and each has a hole that lines up with the holes in the lower roof. A pin then goes through both holes and locks the metal supports in place. Hope this helps.
