Hi everyone!

I am the proud brand new owner of a 1989 Perris Pacer 19' 5th wheel, and yes I am a newbie. I have just discovered the front window near the bunk has been shattered. It is tinted, and I believe that it is glass probably about 1/4" to 3/8" thick. I am looking for any help I can get here ie. what should I replace it with, how to go about it etc... I am pretty handy so I could possibly do it myself but just need to be pointed in the right direction. Anything you have for me would be GREAT! Thanks in advance.

Bryan

How cool is that! I see you've been a member for a while, did you own something different? At anyrate, I looked in the album and we only have one picture of a Perris Pacer 5th wheel HERE (hint, hint, hint) is the window you're talking about...the one in the very front or one of the side windows? Either way, you could probably get it replaced at a automotive glass shop...or create a template out of cardboard and take that in to the glass shop and have them cut it for you and you install...

Too coool

You'll post picture too, won't you

Oh man, I'm so disappointed I ASSUMED it was molded fiberglass, and it's not....sigh and since FiberglassRV's focus is about molded...... That doesn't mean you shouldn't love it never the less ...and it looks like a well cared for trailer for it's age.

Bryan my advice still stands too

Nah, we're picky but not radically exclusive. However Bryan you may find more like minded individuals on the Open Road Forums over at RV.net...there may even be some Perris Pacer 5th wheel owners hanging in the 5th wheel forum who can give you specific answers to your questions.
