Thought I would give everybody a little polishing tip for their Fiberglass RVs. I have found what I think is the most amazing polish for the interior fiberglass (can't tell you how it works on the exterior as I haven't tried it yet). It's called Novus 2 - Fine Scratch Remover. I used it to buff and polish the interior of my Burro and it worked WONDERS. It took out every single scratch, scuff mark and made everything shine like new. I HIGHLY recommend it!! I found that my local Harley dealership sells it. They have a store on their website, but your best bet is to call them for your local distributor. Here is the website for the product (and no, I don't work for Novus, I just love their polish): http://www.novuspolish.com/ I will be trying it on the exterior of my new Burro - I'll let you know how (and IF) it works!!

Also - I tried to attach a copy of the entire 1983 Burro assembly/instruction manual (handwritten!), but the file is too big (it's almost 2M. Lots of helpful information in there!! If anybody knows a way for me to post it, I will - otherwise email me and I can send you a copy!! amylovesebay {at} hotmail {dot} com

oh crumb. should I have posted this in the other forum??

Amy, Thank you for the manual. I can't believe how much information is in there. Owning an 82 Burro, its great to see how it was put together originally, it gives me a different perspective on why some things are where they are. I loved the air conditioner section, I had been considering cutting a whole, but like the window option better.

Again thank you, I have not been able to find this complete document anywhere before.

Mike
P.S. Love the signature line (may have to borrow that too)

No, this is the complete handwritten manual for a 1983 Burro. I think it is about 45 pages. Maybe a few similar drawings, but it is different.

Amy, I reviewed both today, yours definitely has additional information than the one that was transcribed from an '81 version. Mike

Hi Amy, we just bought a 84 Burro and would love to have a copy of the manual. And thanks for the tip on polishing. Pam do I need to see you a email address?

I have used Novus 2 on both the exterior fiberglass and aluminum trim with great success.
I'll wetsand if heavily oxidized with 800-1000 grit sandpaper then polish with Novus. It took three applications by hand to get a mirror shine so I switched to a buffer. An extra coat of wax will give longer protection.
Got mine at Apple Autoglass here in Canada
