interior decorating

Hi,
I would like to dress up the interior of our '76 Scamp with some pictures on the wall. The inside is not what I think some of you refer to as rat fur, it's more like a dense spongy foam, which has been painted.
I would like to hang some framed paintings....what will work without messing up the insulation?
I'm SURE some of you creative types have done this!

I was thinking of the cupboard doors and refrigerator, but didn't want to be limited to just those areas.

There is a few things you could try on the walls if the pictures aren't too heavy.

There is a blue tacky stuff that I originally used to put post cards on my cabinet doors. Only problem is that it might stain your ensolite (?). POSTER PUTTY

The postcards are so light weight that I have found that a CANDLE ADHESIVE works really well. It's made to hold candles upright. Since it's clear, there shouldn't be a staining issue. In fact, it does a better job than the putty on my postcards.

I also ran acrossTHIS STUFF I've never used it, but it looks promising.

There is also something out there called GLUE DOTS that looks very promising. Not sure if it would damage the ensolite or not.

We haven't had much luck with the sticky stuff staying stuck! I don't know whether it's the heat or the humidity because we have plenty of both, but things always end up falling off before long. However, I used the smallest size drapery hooks to attach curtain tiebacks to the Ensolite wall covering. I think you could probably use them to hang pictures too. Haven't tried that yet, but I plan to. The great thing is that if you put the hook in the wrong place & have to move it, the old hole doesn't show!

I found some heavy duty velcro at Camping World. I've used it stick the anti wasp screen over the heater vents, I made some hat hooks using lamp hangers attached to piece of wood. Used the same thing for pot holders. Some I've had there for over year and close to 5,000 miles over some pretty rough roads. Still hanging in there.

If you like I'll look up the brand name.
