After much research on these boards we painted the fiberglass with melamine paint after a good cleaning and a slight rough up with some sand paper. We painted the ensolite with a kitchen/bathroom latex paint.
Hope this helps.

I cant believe i dont remember the name of it but i used some wickedly toxic flexible paint i got at lordco. it was reccomended to me at a rally. (i must not remember b/c of the fumes ) I only did it last year too, how quickly the brain cells go when in a confined space. I did use a respirator after i started, i had too. if you want i could look it up. I am really satisfied with how it turned out. It is made for vinyl i think. It comes with a vinyl prep wash that you need to use. you can see the finish in the background of the kitchen pic. Good luck

You're going to have an addition problem... what kind of paint did this last owner use... acrylic, oil-based, latex, etc? You won't have long lasting results if you try to top coat this paint with a paint that doesn't adhere. For instance, putting oil-based over latex.

If you're looking to remove the old paint first, you might want to look into this:
RemovALL paint remover. I understand it works well on fiberglass, but is sloooow reacting. So leave it on for a while (like overnight).
